HOW TO ORDER
Alumicraft grille inserts are sold two different ways, depending on the product. Here’s how each one works.
MUSCLE CAR GRILLES-ORDER ONLINE, IN STOCK
Muscle Car grille inserts (Camaro, Corvette, Nova, Chevelle, C/10, Mustang, and more) are ready to ship and can be ordered directly on our website, just like any online store.
Steps:
- Find your year and model under the Muscle Car menu.
- Choose your Style — most grilles come in a 2D hexagon grid pattern or a 3D hexagon grid pattern with a 1/8″ channel between the hexagons for added detail. Some models also offer an LED lighting upgrade.
- Click Add to Cart and check out. Payment is processed securely online.
- Your grille ships via FedEx once your order is confirmed.
No build request or follow-up call needed — these are stocked and ready to go.
Street Rod & Classic Truck Grilles — Custom Built to Order
Street Rod and Classic Truck grille inserts are custom-built for your specific vehicle, so these aren’t purchased with a simple “Add to Cart.” Instead:
Steps:
- Find your year and model under the Street Rod or Classic Truck menu.
- Choose your options — bar spacing, polish, and any additional features specific to that model (see the glossary below).
- Click Request This Build. This isn’t a purchase — it submits your selections to us so we can confirm details.
- We’ll follow up directly (by phone or email) to confirm your build, answer any questions, and arrange payment once your grille is ready to ship.
The price shown on each product page reflects your selected options and is an estimate — final pricing and payment are confirmed when we follow up with you.
Custom CNC Work
Need something that isn’t part of our standard lineup? We also do one-off CNC machining work. Visit the Custom CNC Work page and submit your request with details about what you need — we’ll get back to you with a quote.
Understanding Your Options
A few terms you’ll see while choosing your grille:
- Bar Spacing — how far apart the bars of the grille insert are spaced, typically a choice between two sizes (for example, 3/8″ or 1/4″). This is a matter of personal style and doesn’t affect fit.
- Polish — how much of the grille is polished. Front Polish means the front face is polished; Full Polish means the entire piece, front and back, is polished to a mirror finish.
- Bend / Shell Options — some models offer additional features like an inward or outward bend, a fiberglass shell, or a trim band. These vary by model — available options are always shown on that model’s product page, with any added cost noted.
- Style (Muscle Car only) — refers to the pattern of the grille insert: a 2D hexagon grid pattern, or a 3D hexagon grid pattern with a 1/8″ channel between the hexagons for added depth and detail.
