2005 Ford GT — Replacement Grilles for THROTL × WD-40 SEMA Build

When THROTL — the YouTube channel with over 3 million subscribers — needed replacement grilles for their carbon-fiber widebody 2005 Ford GT, built in partnership with WD-40 for the SEMA show, they sent the originals straight to the Bellwood shop. The factory grilles, made of plastic, had warped and cracked at the mounting points over time. Dan reverse-engineered them in-house, replicating every factory mounting point — down to the 8-32 Allen screw threading — so the new grilles bolt right on. Follow the project on THROTL’s YouTube channel.
